Two Decades of Social Care Expertise

Care Clarity Consulting was built on a simple conviction: that navigating the care system should not require a law degree.

Our Story

Care Clarity Consulting was founded after two decades working within and alongside the social care system — in local authorities, with care providers, and alongside families at some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

What became clear over those years was that the gap between what the law says and what families and providers actually understand is enormous. The Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act, DoLS, safeguarding frameworks — these are powerful tools for protecting people's rights and wellbeing. But they only work if the people they are designed to protect can access and understand them.

Care Clarity Consulting exists to close that gap. We translate complex legislation and local authority processes into plain English, and we stand alongside families and providers as they navigate systems that can feel overwhelming.

"The law is on your side. We help you use it."

How We Work

Plain-spoken

We never hide behind jargon. Every piece of guidance we give is in language that is clear, direct, and actionable.

Person-centred

The person at the centre of a care situation is always our primary concern — not the system, not the process, not the paperwork.

Practically grounded

Our advice is rooted in real experience of how the system actually works — not just how it is supposed to work.

Compassionate

We understand that the people who come to us are often under enormous pressure. We work at their pace, with patience and care.
